Mr Shereif Zareif Tawfik

Shereif Zareif Tawfik received his dental training from MSA University in Cairo, Egypt. He completed a residency there and subsequently worked in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time, he also worked at his father’s Periodontal Prosthesis Practice. In 2013, Shereif Zareif Tawfik completed his Periodontics Fellowship Program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Following this, he completed a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontology and a Masters of Science in Dentistry at Boston University. His training focused on growth factors and peri-implant tissue development. Shereif Zareif Tawfik maintains a Clinical Assistant Professor position in the post-doctoral Periodontology Department at Boston University. He is both a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Shereif Zareif Tawfik lectures internationally, has published numerous refereed articles and ‘book chapters’ on the topic of anterior implant esthetics with a strong focus on minimally invasive and cosmetic regenerative procedures. Shereif Zareif Tawfik enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing squash and travelling to different beach destinations where he can practice his wakeboarding skills.
