Dr Miles Chu

Dr. Miles Chu, a dedicated general dentist, periodontist, and implant surgeon, resides in Vancouver, British Columbia with his wife Cindy. With 17 years of clinical experience, Dr. Chu’s approach to dentistry is shaped by his periodontal training background, allowing him to provide comprehensive care to his patients. He values patient education and aims to create a warm and friendly environment for all those under his care. His commitment to excellence is rooted in the philosophy that “There may be many ways of treating a disease, but there is but only one correct diagnosis” set forth by professor emeritus Dr. Morton Amsterdam some sixty years ago. Dr. Miles Chu’s areas of expertise include correct diagnosis, ideal treatment planning, treating all aspects of Dental/Oral diseases and full mouth rehabilitation utilizing dental implants. A proud alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Chu holds a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Simon Fraser University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2007 and completed his residency in Periodontics in 2010 at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chu’s dedication to patient care is evident through his active membership in prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia.
