Dr. Tarzemany is a specialist in Periodontics and the Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Tarzemany’s meticulous approach to periodontics and surgery is thoughtful and evidence based. Dr. Rana Tarzemany received her dental degree from Azad Tehran Dental School, and completed her graduate studies in the field of combined PhD and Diploma in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She has received outstanding recognition for her research on molecular mechanisms of wound healing and scar formation, including the Volpe Competition (2015). Dr. Tarzemany is currently the Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at UBC.
