I’m Dr Bruce Ward. I was born in a small town in Quebec, called Granby, and attended McGill University, where I graduated from dentistry in 1976! I practiced for a year in Bermuda, where I met my wife Karin, and came to work in North Vancouver in 1978. In 1985 I bought a practice in Coquitlam with two of my McGill classmates, and worked there until I returned to the North Shore in 2008, and I have worked here ever since. I work 2 days a week which allows me to volunteer my time to various organizations in BC. I work as a volunteer at the free dental clinic on the Eastside of North Vancouver, do committee work for the British Columbia Dental Association, teach at UBC, and I am on the organizing group of the Pacific Dental Conference, Canada’s largest dental meeting. I have a wonderful group of patients to work with, some who I have known for 40years! Treating them and their families has been one of the great joys of my professional life, as well as working with a wonderful staff who take great care of our patients, and me! We pride ourselves on providing ethical, informed, and technically excellent treatment, and I hope to continue providing this type of care to my patients for many more years. I love my job!
