Born in England, Dr. James Tait immigrated to Canada in 2000 and grew up in the Tri Cities. In 2022, he graduated from the University of British Columbia, where he studied for nine years. He received three degrees from the university: a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (BSc), a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA), and a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). Dr. Tait is a member of the British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA) and a supporter of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, among other charities. What he enjoys most about dentistry is chasing mastery in its workmanship, restoring patients’ confidence when they believe they need a smile makeover, and relieving patients of any pain or discomfort. In addition to expanding his knowledge of dentistry, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, boxing, cooking, and performing as a DJ.
