Dr. Natalie Harder (nee Rosenthal) was born and raised in Winnipeg. She graduated in 2019 from the University of Manitoba with a double degree: a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Her research on universal adhesives, which is the material used to keep fillings in place, won first place nationally at the Canada Dental Association Conference. She went on to represent Canada and be recognized internationally for her research at the International Association for Dental Research Conference. She has received the Dr. John Grahame Scholarship for community service and high academic standing. Dr. Harder has a passion for teaching and teaches at the University of Manitoba. She has taught clinical and hands on courses for first, second, and third year dental students. Dr. Harder takes that passion for teaching into how she explains procedures and options to patients. She aspires to create positive dental experiences with her calm and gentle approach. During her studies, she was the recipient of the Dr. Edgar N. Cole Memorial Scholarship for the highest standing in the course of pain and anxiety control. She also has been trained in nitrous oxide sedation to help patients with dental anxiety.
