This course covers all-ceramic crown and bridge systems, their advantages/disadvantages, indications, preparation errors, cementation, and zirconia qualities. Overview of the newest all-ceramic crown and bridge systems. Advantages/disadvantages of the various systems, specific indications for each system, most common preparation errors, cementation issues and preparation for cementation, unique qualities of zirconia. Discusses differences in the silica-based ceramics and high strength conventionally cemented ceramics.
