A three-year Periodontics–Advanced Specialty Program leading to a certificate in periodontics with optional Master of Science (M. S. ) or Master of Science in Dentistry (M. S.
D. ) degree. The program prepares students for specialty practice with emphasis on high-level procedural techniques including esthetics- and prosthetics-related mucogingival surgery, root-form implant placement, preparatory augmentation, and repairs. Includes didactic and clinical training as well as research.
