Innovate Dental Studio is a dental practice located in Lee on the Solent, Hampshire. It was established in 2011 when Dr Andrew Smales took over the Kea Dental Health Centre and rebranded it. Dr Smales, the clinical director and practice owner, qualified in 2000 from King’s College London and has a special interest in implant dentistry and cosmetic treatments, including facial aesthetics.
The team includes associate dentists Dr Lisa Pearce, who focuses on periodontology, preventative dentistry, restorative work, and treating children and nervous patients, and Dr Jamie Durrant-Fellows, who specialises in minimal invasive cosmetic dentistry, teeth straightening, and facial aesthetic treatments. Other team members are hygienist Frankie Leigh, who treats periodontal disease; treatment co-ordinator Nicky Adamson; lead dental nurse Louise Hutchings; dental nurse Molly Claridge; consultant anaesthetist Dr Roy Kukreja; and practice manager Joanna Hope.
The practice offers a wide range of services, including implants, ceramic crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, dentures, Invisalign aligners, facial aesthetics with dermal fillers and Botox, mini smile makeovers, snore guards, and general dentistry such as extractions. It holds certifications from the Care Quality Commission, International Team for Implantology, Association of Dental Implantology, and others.
