Kelly Couldridge

Dental Hygienist

Kelly Couldridge joined in 2021. Kelly is passionate about dental hygiene and provides the best patient care and reassurance possible for all of her patients. Kelly has been a part of Halford House for almost 3 years and has built up a fantastic reputation and client base. Kelly's patients regularly feedback on how kind and caring she is, and how comfortable they feel whilst having their treatment. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys reading, cycling, walking and travelling.

Ruby Mitchell-Millar

Dental Nurse

GDC Number 314815, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing 2024

Ruby Mitchell-Millar joined in 2022. After completing her A-Levels, Ruby joined the Halford House team in July 2022 as a Trainee Dental Nurse, and has now since qualified. Ruby is kind and caring, and ensures her patients feel calm and at-ease when visiting the dentist. Ruby is a keen learner and has just enrolled in a Radiography course, which will allow her to extend her knowledge in xrays and further areas of dental nursing. Outside of the practice, Ruby enjoys weightlifting at the gym, skiing and spending time with family and friends.

Tess Dyke

Lead Dental Nurse

Tess Dyke joined in 2010. Tess started her career as a Trainee Dental Nurse in 2010, and went on to gain her qualification in Dental Nursing in 2014. She then progressed to Lead Dental Nurse in 2021, and joined the team at Halford House a year later. As part of her role, Tess ensures the practice is compliant, and last year enrolled on the CDUK’s Elevate program to gain further knowledge in this field, which she is very passionate about. Tess also works closely with our Implantologist, Dr Elinda, as an Implant Nurse and Treatment Co-Ordinator. Outside of the practice, Tess enjoys caravan holidays in the New Forest.

Karen Ockwell

Dental Receptionist

Karen Ockwell joined in 2021. Karen is one of our dedicated receptionists here at Halford House Dental. Karen is one of the first faces you will see when you attend your dental appointment, and she will always greet you with a smile! Karen is kind, helpful and compassionate – if you are a nervous patient and feel anxious whilst waiting to see the dentist, Karen will be there to have a chat and help make you feel calm. Karen loves working at Halford House – she thoroughly enjoys patient interaction and being part of a great team. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren.

Melanie Kemp

Dental Receptionist

Melanie Kemp joined in 2024. Mel is one of the first people that you will be greeted with at when visiting Halford House Dental Clinic. Mel is very welcoming and friendly and provides fantastic customer service and patient care. She often goes above and beyond to ensure she helps patients get the care and services they need. Patients often comment on how caring Mel is and how she made them feel at ease whilst visiting the dentist. Mel is always up for a chat, so if you’re feeling nervous before your appointment, she is sure to help you feel calm. Outside of work, Mel enjoys going fishing and spending time with her family.

Dr Jasmine Mary

Dr Jasmine Mary joined in 2024. Dr Jasmine joined the team in 2024 as a PLVE Associate Dentist. Jasmine was previously an Honorary Clinical Tutor for dental undergraduates at King’s College Dental Institute, London. She is a Certified Laser Safety Officer and is looking to further expand her knowledge and skills in Laser Dentistry. Dr Jasmine is calm and understanding, and provides great care to all of her patients. In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys painting and reading.

Dr. Nada Alkenani

Dr. Nada Alkenani joined in 2021. Dr Nada Alkenani, graduated in 2002 from Baghdad University and worked in Iraq until 2010. In 2011, Dr Nada Alkenani re-located to the UK, where she completed the statutory dental exam and started practicing both NHS and private dentistry in the UK. Dr Nada has extensive experience working as a dentist in the UK and overseas and is extremely passionate about her work and patients. She has built an outstanding reputation and rapport with her patients. She is committed to providing the highest level of dental care and making patients feel relaxed and at ease so that their experience will be as pleasant as possible. Dr Nada Alkenani, also has a special interest in the Invisalign clear aligner system. Outside of dentistry Nada enjoys cooking and travelling with her two daughters.

Elinda Rodrigues

Elinda Rodrigues joined in 2022. Elinda has been working as a dentist for over 18 years. She initially completed her dental undergraduate Batchelor of Dental Surgery degree in Goa. She was then appointed as Senior House Officer for three years in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in hospitals in Oxford and Guildford. During this time, she gained her Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Elinda is committed to ongoing education and completed her two-year long post graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology at the University of Bristol in 2012. She also has a Diploma in Orthodontic Aligner Therapy from City of London University. Elinda also holds a postgraduate certificate in Medical and Dental Education from Oxford Brookes University and has been an Educational Supervisor for newly qualified dentists for over ten years. Elinda carries out Neoss dental implant treatment and Invisalign Orthodontics, and has been providing these for over the past decade. She has two children and in her spare time she enjoys interior design and gardening. She takes pride in providing functional and aesthetic dental solutions to her patients. Her patients have commented on how kind and approachable she is.

Dr Asghar Khan

Dr Asghar Khan joined in 2021. Dr. Khan began his career in dentistry in 1995 as a Foundation Dentist in Pakistan. In 1996, he became a Commissioned Dentist in the Government Health Services in Pakistan. In 1999, he was appointed as an honorary dentist in Saudi Arabia. He later moved to Germany in 2013, where he earned his second dentistry qualification at the University of Bonn. In 2018, Dr. Khan relocated to England and began working with children with special needs. In 2021, he joined the team at Halford House and Colosseum Dental. Currently, Dr. Khan is conducting research in the field of Periodontology at the University of Bonn, while also serving as a mentor to PVLE dentists at Halford House. Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys playing music - specifically the clarinet - and has a passion for gardening and photography.

Dr Evelina Shehaj

Dr Evelina Shehaj joined in 2022. Dr Evelina Shehaj is our PLVE Dentist at Halford House. Evelina graduated from Tor Vergata University in 2011 and then went onto complete a Masters of Oral Surgery at Sapienzr University in 2013, both in Rome, Italy. Outside of the practice, Evelina enjoys travelling, cooking, reading classics and watching football matches with her father.

Dr Sam Chegini

Dr Sam Chegini joined in 2020. Dr. Sam Chegini is one of our associate dentists at Halford House, known for her dedication to patient care and her extensive knowledge in both dentistry and medical law. Sam graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012, where she developed a strong foundation in dental science and clinical skills. She then joined Colosseum Dental UK in 2018, and she has been an integral part of our practice at Halford House since 2020, consistently providing high-quality care to her patients. In addition to her clinical practice, Sam has pursued advanced studies, earning a master’s degree in medical law. This unique combination of expertise allows her to serve as a practicing dento-legal advisor, offering valuable insights into the legal aspects of dental practice and patient care. Outside of her professional life, Sam Enjoys baking, reading and yoga.

Dr Vijay Kakkar

Dr Vijay Kakkar joined in 2022. Dr. Vijay Kakkar is one of our associate dentists at Halford House, bringing a wealth of experience and a unique dual qualification to our team. Vijay graduated from Kings College in 2021, where he honed his skills in various aspects of dental care. In August of the following year, he joined Halford House, quickly becoming a valued member of our practice. Prior to his career in dentistry, Vijay worked as an optometrist for five years, giving him a broad perspective on healthcare and patient care. Dr. Vijay has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve their ideal smiles. He is currently offering Clear Correct teeth straightening at Halford House, providing patients with advanced options for improving their dental alignment and overall appearance. Outside of the practice, Vijay enjoys going to the gym & spending time with his daughter.

Dr. Nathir Behnam joined in 2003. Nathir graduated in 1996 and spent a year working at a hospital in Iraq in the oral surgery department, where he gained valuable experience in extractions and Minor Oral Surgery. In 2003, he came to the UK and has been working at Triangle Dental Clinic, Kingston-Upon-Thames. During this time, he has been able to further develop his skills and was awarded a Post-Graduation Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from Eastman Dental Hospital. The training focused on providing top quality restorative and aesthetic treatments. His passion for Implant Dentistry began in 2010, when he enrolled in a Post-Graduation Implant course at Sheffield Hospital, given the opportunity to shadow and be tutored by leading Senior Implantologists. Since then, he has been placing implants on a regular basis. His outside interests are football and travelling.

Dr. Arvinder Parshad

Dr. Arvinder Parshad joined in 2013. Arvinder graduated in 2011 from King’s College London and started working in primary care practices, focusing on prevention of disease and restoration of oral health. During this time, she was awarded membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In the interest of further development, in 2018 Arvinder completed a Master’s in Endodontics. Since then she has been providing endodontic advice and treatment from both internal and external referring dental practitioners. Arvinder has been working at the Triangle Dental Clinic since 2013 and has built a strong rapport with her patients as an exceptionally caring and passionate dentist. In her free time, Arvinder enjoys reading and cooking.

Dr. Saba Al-Gailani

Dr. Saba Al-Gailani joined in 2005. Dr Saba graduated in 2002 from Baghdad University, and after her initial training she was accepted as a member of the faculty at the University. In 2005 Dr Saba re-located to the UK, where she completed the Statutory Exam and started practicing both NHS and Private dentistry. In her pursuit of higher education and further development of her skills, in 2009, she became a member of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng). She then followed her passion for Aesthetics and Conservative Dentistry which lead her to be one of the first delegates to obtain a Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry from King’s College in 2013. For the past 15 years, Dr Saba has practiced in general dentistry clinics where she has mentored several junior dentists and has been able to build an outstanding rapport with her patients, due to her calming communication skills that can put any nervous patient at ease. In her spare time, Dr Saba enjoys spending time with her young family. Her main hobbies are reading, painting and jewellery making.

Dr May Matloub

Dentist

Dr May Matloub joined in 2025. Dentistry is May’s passion – she enjoys making connections with patients, helping them when they’re in pain and making sure they feel as comfortable and at-ease as possible when visiting the practice. May works in domiciliary dentistry once a week, where she visits patients in nursing homes and delivers preventative and palliative care. May is keen to expand her knowledge in different areas and is currently studying courses in crowns and facial aesthetics. In the future, she would like to complete aligner and restorative dentistry training. Outside of the practice, May enjoys pilates, reading and travelling.
