Dr Hemal Chavda

GDC: 244274, University of Birmingham, Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry

Dr Hemal Chavda joined in 2021. Hemal graduated from the University of Birmingham and carried out his Vocational Training right here at Carillon. Hemal then undertook an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training post at the Royal Derby Hospital. Since then his interest has always been on surgical and restorative dentistry. He has devoted lot of time developing his skills in dealing with more complex cases, ranging from cosmetic fillings to root canals and smile makeovers. Hemal has also undertaken training in Dental Implants as well as currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry. He has the great privilege of being an Educational Supervisor to newly qualified Dentists and is involved in training the next generation of dentists. Away from dentistry he has recently developed a love of landscape photography, any excuse to go travelling!

Dr Shruthi Bellur

Dr Shruthi Bellur joined in 2021. Shruthi graduated in Dentistry in 2000 and achieved Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons (London) in 2004. Shruthi has a comprehensive experience in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from several NHS organisations in addition to her general dentistry training. She decided to become a General Dental Practitioner in 2006. Shruthi further trained in intra-venous coscious sedation to help the very nervous patients have their treatment comfortably. Shruthi is ambitious and always keeping up to date with the latest innovations in dentistry. Her creative talents not only shine in her dental work, but she has a great interest in art. She enjoys travelling to experience different cultures and love reading books

Dr Savan Desai joined in 2021. Savan graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2019 and undertook his foundation training here at Carillon. He is a calm, passionate and friendly dentist who takes great pride and care in his work. He is always looking for opportunities to learn new skills and improve which has driven him to undertake a Post Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. In his spare time, he loves to play cricket and badminton competitively along with going for walks with his dog.

Dr Shivani Savania joined in 2021. Invisalign Provider. Dr Shivani Savania qualified from Leeds Dental School in 2016. Shivani loves to take extra care in making sure all her patients feel happy and comfortable when in the dental chair. Over the past few years she has completed an Advanced Anesthetic Restorative course and Invisalign Course to really develop her skills to be able to provide the best care and a variety of options for her patients. She has recently brought her first home and enjoys spending her spare time at the property renovating.

Dr Nahida Mazid

Dr Nahida Mazid joined in 2021. Nahida graduated from the University of Plymouth and carried out her foundation training in Leicester. She has now moved back to her home town Loughborough where she grew up and works here at Carillon Dental Care. Nahida is calm, patient and great at making both nervous children and adults feel at ease. She enjoys building good relationships with patients. Always eager to listen to patients and deliver high quality dentistry through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Nahida is very passionate about providing education on the importance of proper oral hygiene and the key to prevention or numerous dental health conditions. Enthusiastic regarding keeping up to date with the latest dental techniques to provide the best patient care possible. Nahida had a lovely bubbly personality, she always walks around with a smile on her face. She aims to bring positive vibe to the dental profession. She has a keen interest in changing patients perspective on dentistry. Outside of work, Nahida loves spending time with her family hosting BBQs, going on hikes and watching Netflix.

Dr. Sameer Mohammed

Dr. Sameer Mohammed joined in 2019. Professional Memberships – MFDSRCS Sameer Mohammed BDS, MFDS, RCS Implantologist Sameer qualified in 2002 from Bangalore University, India. He started training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2003 and gained comprehensive training by working in various maxillofacial trauma centres in the UK. In 2008 he gained his MFDS, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and further extended his training in Implantology by completing a 12-month training programme at the Cambridge Academy. Sameer has completed a diploma in Implantology from Cambridge. Sameer gained advanced training in sinus augmentation and immediate implants from GSD academy in Portugal. He has also gained extensive training on an “All on 4”, where a whole arch of failing teeth is replaced with dental implants in a single visit, at Malligai Dental Hospital in India. Sameer exclusively practices all aspects of implant dentistry, including hard and soft tissue augmentation, sinus grafting, immediate implants, ridge splits and full mouth rehabilitation using the “All on 4” technique. Sameer is a part of the faculty of Malligai Dental Hospital in India and lectures on all aspects of implant dentistry. In his spare time, Sameer enjoys most forms of sports, particularly cricket and badminton.

Jaspreet Kaur Lall

Jaspreet Kaur Lall joined in 2019. Jaspreet qualified with a BDS from the University of Liverpool (UK) in 2008. She is extremely passionate about providing the best care to help her patients achieve great oral health and to be able to smile with confidence. Having practised Dentistry for over 15 years Jaspreet has adhered to an ethos of providing the best care for her patients in the same way that she would treat members of her own family. This is shown through her gentle, friendly and happy manner which makes her a wonderful choice for all patients, especially those who may be nervous or anxious about visiting us. Jaspreet loves being able to help patients achieve the beautiful smile which they have always wanted through utilising her special interest in moving teeth with invisible braces, which include Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, Quick Straight Teeth, ClearCorrect and SureSmile. Jaspreet uses cutting-edge bonding techniques to enhance smiles in a very gentle and elegant manner without having to remove or sacrifice a healthy tooth. Jaspreet has also completed a yearlong advanced operative Aesthetic and restorative Dentistry course. This has allowed her to complete a variety of clinical scenarios and produce work which is of a high standard and aesthetic to the eye. Outside of work Jaspreet has completed a number of marathons, cycling events, she also enjoys a spot of hot yoga. She loves to travel with her husband and her children Eesher and Dara. M. Zakaria Essa joined in 2019. Muhammed Zakaria Essa. I graduated from MAHSA University in Malaysia and subsequently completed the rigorous overseas registration exam. With a goal of providing the most advanced level of care to my patients, I have undertaken post graduate training completing a Diploma in Aesthetic & Restorative dentistry, Clear aligner accreditation and most recently an on-going Diploma in Oral Surgery. Delivering dentistry with a minimally invasive approach is always at the forefront of treatments I enjoy providing. My treatments range from composite bonding, teeth straightening to veneers and porcelain restorations. I believe the key to meeting patient expectations is all about communication. I am recognised for being detailed in my explanation of options in guiding you to your chosen bespoke solution. Outside of dentistry I am a family man who enjoys sports and being outdoors.

Raj Ghadiali

Raj Ghadiali joined in 1997. Raj Ghadiali, BDS, Pg Dip Implantology. I qualified in 1992 and have been practicing in general practice providing all aspects of dental treatment and cosmetic dentistry. Over this period I have had the privilege of attending many post graduate courses and study for a diploma at The Cambridge Academy of Implantology. I particularly enjoy the oral surgery aspect of dentistry from apicectomies to save that tooth to complicated extractions if all else fails. I am now focusing on placing dental implants to replace that missing tooth, giving you the confidence to eat comfortably and restore your smile once again. In my spare time I enjoy playing any racquet sport and most recently have taken up padel, which I find fascinating. I am also a keen cyclist in the summer and skier in the winter. Raj Gupta joined in 1997. I have nearly 30 years of valuable experience as a practising dentist and I have spent 25 of those at Firs Dental. I am passionate about helping my patients achieve their dental goals from the simple to the complex. By listening to their needs I strive to provide bespoke treatment options and offer all the benefits of modern dentistry and surroundings. It is a must that treatment is given in a calm, relaxed and painless manner. My ethos is to understand my patients and offer them an excellent service of the highest quality. I believe digital dentistry is allowing me to deliver this to my patients currently for which I have been practicing since 2017. I proactively keep up to date with modern dental education and trends, attending conferences across the UK and Europe. Away from dentistry, I have a love for the outdoors and enjoy golf ,cycling and running. I am a devoted family man with three wonderful children.

Dr. Afzal Khamiran joined in 2019. After his qualification from University of Aachen (Germany) where he was fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from well-known laser and implant specialists he started as an associate in private practices in Germany for two years. He quickly developed a particular passion for surgical dentistry, prompting him to pursue and advance these skills working alongside experienced surgeons . During this time, he started his involvement in implant dentistry. After relocating to the UK, he joined the team at Northgate Dental Care in 2006 where he is now the longest serving senior associate. He has also worked in various dental practices in West Sussex. Afzal has participated in dental conferences and courses nationally and internationally in order to incorporate the newest technologies and leading advances in dentistry into his day to day treatment planning. Afzal understands that for patients to feel relaxed and empowered about their treatment, they need to be kept informed and involved at all stages. He has made a life-long commitment to learning and has completed a huge amount of postgraduate education including a master class in MIMI® (minimally invasive method of implantation) in Germany and a year-long certification course in Implant Dentistry with ITI (International Team of Implantology).
