Dr Barbara Cater is a very gentle and caring dentist who prides herself on remaining in touch with modern dental techniques which aim to improve patient comfort and confidence. Dr Cater graduated with a Batchelor of Dental Surgery from Birmingham University, England in 1973 and brings with her the knowledge and gentleness that comes with many years of experience in the UK, the Middle East and New Zealand. A commitment to continuing education allows the provision of the best in quality care for her patients – Barbara’s main interest is in restorative dentistry, with a special interest in implant dentistry, and in the vitally important aspect of prevention and minimisation of dental disease. When not busy with the practice of dentistry, Dr Cater enjoys family life and her beautiful lifestyle block with its horses, dogs, sheep, and of course, a garden.
