Dental and surgical training was carried out in New Zealand and augmented with training jobs in Australia and the UK. Memberships: NZDA – New Zealand Dental Association, ANZAOMS – Australia and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, BAOMS – British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (overseas member). Bob keeps up to date by attending conferences and courses in New Zealand and overseas. He's highly trained and experienced in the full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery ranging from removal of wisdom teeth, dental implants, oral pathology, TMJ surgery, jaw deformities and trauma. He currently works in private practice where the emphasis is on oral surgery procedures (wisdom teeth, dental implants, bone grafts, oral pathology and orthodontic surgical procedures). Other surgeons are employed on occasions on a part time or locum basis.
