My name is Pip and I’m a Dentist at Peak Dental in Havelock North. It’s hard for me to pick a favourite part of my role as it is incredibly varied. I enjoy the variety of general practice, restorations, crowns, root canals, periodontal treatment. I find the opportunity to improve people’s health and oral health incredibly rewarding. I was very frightened of the Dentist growing up and part of my reason for becoming a Dentist was that I wanted to change that experience for people. I qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University. I chose Dentistry because I love the combination of theory and practical skills.
