Imad graduated from the University of Otago with a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He completed a diploma course in Primary Care Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He worked in a private practice in Auckland and Palmerston North before relocating to Wellington. Born and raised in Oman, he communicates in English and Arabic.
