Evonne graduated from the University of Otago, completing her degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery with First Class (Honours) in 2021, after moving to New Zealand from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She won the prestigious Otago Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) Scholarship in 2020 and has published her work via the Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute. Evonne has completed multiple dental courses, focusing on digital dentistry, restorative dentistry, oral surgery and facial aesthetics. She incorporates these skills into her everyday practice. As an active member of the New Zealand Society for Anaesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry, she routinely provides intravenous (IV) sedation to her anxious patients, ensuring that each procedure is as comfortable and efficient as possible. After work, you may run into Evonne keeping fit and active at the gym. She has recently picked up ultimate frisbee as a hobby and plays socially at the local sports club, Whakatū Ultimate.
