Jareth was born in Wellington and attended Newlands College, before moving to Dunedin for dental school at the University of Otago. He graduated in 2012 with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Distinction). He moved to Whanganui after graduating and worked in a practice where he was mentored in using the latest dental techniques and technology available. This gave him the opportunity to provide his patients with modern dentistry from the very beginning of his career. He loves that being a general dentist allows him to attend to the wide range of dental problems patient can have, and especially enjoys dental surgery and implants, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. Jareth met his wife, Michelle, who is also a dentist, while they were working together in Whanganui. In 2019, Jareth and Michelle were ready for a new adventure. They said their goodbyes and set out to backpack around the world
