Dr Mia is a Porirua/Paraparaumu local who’s returned to Porirua to give back to the community that helped raise him. A graduate of Otago University, Dr Mia ( BDS), believes that the key to providing good care is prioritising the patient’s needs and wants, which is listening to what they want and respecting their budget and time while explaining things clearly in terms they understand. Mia has an affinity for Endodontics (root canals) and Oral surgery (extractions). He hopes to have the opportunity to work closer with the Pacific Island/Māori communities during his tenure.
