Te Rauhina grew up in Wellington and her whānau are from the Wairarapa. She studied in Dunedin and graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction. She previously worked as a dental house surgeon at the Hutt Hospital where she gained experience in emergency dentistry, oral surgery and the treatment of medically complex patients. Te Rauhina enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She likes to work collaboratively with her patients to create a personalised treatment plan and help address their dental needs. She has a particular focus on prevention and education so that patients have the tools to effectively care for their teeth. Te Rauhina has a gentle and friendly approach and strives to create a comfortable environment for her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and whānau, finding the best matcha spots and playing tennis.
