Dr Pulkit grew up wanting to become a dentist because of the opportunity it offered to meet new people and make a difference in their quality of life. He originally completed a Bachelor’s in Dentistry in New Delhi (India) in 2007 and was recognised by the International College of Dentists for his academic achievements. He then obtained a full scholarship and completed advanced training in Periodontology in 2010. After moving to New Zealand, Dr Pulkit worked as an apprentice to a highly experienced Auckland dentist, then gained his Registration as a General Dentist in 2013. The most satisfying aspect of being a dentist is being able to connect with people to assist them with smiling more, living more and being themselves. Beyond his traditional education, Dr Pulkit also completed additional training at the Dental School at Otago and Sydney Dental Hospital. He is a proud member of organisations, including The New Zealand Dental Association, New Zealand Society of Intravenous Sedation in Dentistry, New Zealand Society of Endodontics, Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (U.K.), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, World Clinical Laser Institute (Associate Fellow), Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeon (Affiliate Member; Expected Fellowship, 2024). Because of Dr Pulkit’s advanced skills beyond general dentistry services, he also offers expanded therapies, such as rotary root canal therapy, laser dentistry, intravenous sedation, wisdom teeth removal surgery, and digitally guided dental implant placement.
