She also completed her Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons primary examinations and received the Leask Memorial medal for restorative dentistry. Laura’s favoured area of dentistry is oral surgery (removal of teeth) and general dentistry. Before moving into private practice, Laura worked for two years as the dental surgeon at Wellington Hospital. When left-handed Laura is not taking out teeth, she competes (and wins) mountain biking races at both a local and national level.
