Dr. Steve and his brother Dr. Stacey attended dental school together. After graduating, they decided to return to the Sacramento area — where they lived as young children — to take advantage of the proximity to the mountains, lakes, and rivers. Dr. Steve has a strong commitment to quality dental care and patient comfort. This is evident in his effort to tailor each procedure and treatment to the wants and needs of his patients. In order to stay on the cutting edge of technological and dental advancements, Dr. Steve attends a variety of continuing education courses. He and his brother Dr. Stacey were among the first dentists in the area to become CEREC® certified and offer porcelain crowns and onlays, made at their office, in just one visit. Today, he continues to learn from some of the top educators, such as Spear Education at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. Dr. Steve lives in Auburn with his wife and one cat. They have a daughter (Lisa) and son (Kevin) who both are living in Oregon after finishing college. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys being outdoors; playing golf, skiing, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and off-roading in his Jeep. Dr. Steve is also an accomplished cook.
