Dr. Myra Covarrubias grew up most of her life in Battle Creek. She graduated from Andrews University with her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She moved to California where she received her Master's in Public Health, then her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. She moved back to Battle Creek in 2004 and joined Dr. Houghtaling's office. She has also spent some time working as the supervising dentist at Kellogg Community College. She enjoys practicing dentistry and getting to know her patients. She and her husband have two children.
