Dr. Vanderpool was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and currently lives in Bluffton, SC. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of South Carolina and an officer commission from Army Reserve Officer Training Corps in 2015. Upon graduation, Dr. Vanderpool attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received his DMD. He has served in the South Carolina Army National Guard as a Dental Corps officer for over 5 years. Dr. Vanderpool enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about personalizing patient care. In his free time, Dr. Vanderpool enjoys playing mediocre golf, walking his golden doodle, fishing, boating, and spending time with his high school sweetheart, Taylor, who is a clinical pharmacist in Savannah, GA.
