Dr. Peggy Lee is the Director of the residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Washington Dental School. She has a passion for teaching which resonates with her Radiology residents as well as the pre-doctoral students. Dr. Lee received her dental degree from National Yang Ming University in Taiwan and completed an M.S.D. in oral medicine at the University of Washington in 1984, where she specialized in TMD, pain, and diseases of the orofacial complex. She also earned a Ph.D. in the Department of Microbiology at the University of Washington studying the molecular biology of HIV, followed by post-doctoral training in immune regulation at the University of Washington and at the University of California - San Diego. She returned to the UW Dental School in 2006 and completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program in 2012. Dr. Lee has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and given presentations on CBCT imaging, and served as a peer-reviewer for several radiology journals.
