Mr Jay W. Chrisman,

Cosmetic dentist Jay W. Chrisman is a Bloomington native and the third generation of Chrisman dentists in Bloomington, Illinois. He is a graduate of Bloomington High School, Lake Forest College, and the University of Illinois’ School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he served a tour of duty as a dental officer in the United States Navy and returned to Bloomington in 1976 to open a new dental office with his father, Robert A. Chrisman. Dr. Jay loves his job! He loves it when patients tell him, "This is the first time that I've been to the dentist that I didn't feel anything." And he especially enjoys turning ordinary smiles or less-than-ordinary smiles into beautiful smiles. Dr. Jay loves making people happy with their smiles, and this is the primary reason he wanted to excel in the art of cosmetic dentistry. Having completed a difficult training program, he is now very proud to say he is one of less than 250 dentists in the world to have earned accreditation status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This dedication to excellence has made Dr. Jay a popular cosmetic dentist among residents of Bloomington, Peoria, Champaign, and other communities in Illinois. Dr. Jay is married and has three children. He is a sports enthusiast and is very active in the community, having served on the boards of The Children's Foundation, Second Presbyterian Church, and Bloomington-Normal Cursillo. He is a member of the local, state, and national dental societies. The third generation of Chrisman dentists in Bloomington, Dr. Chrisman is accredited by the AACD and is dedicated to helping each of his patients love their smile.
