Despite growing up the son of a prosthodontic dentist and a pharmacist, Dr. Jow initially had no aspirations of a career in healthcare. However, after leaving his hometown of Walnut Creek for UC Irvine, he quickly found his own way to dentistry. He found his passion first and foremost as a science communicator: helping patients fully understand their dental health and dental conditions, before creating lasting restorations that are both functionally and esthetically excellent. After completing a BS in Biological Sciences at UCI, Dr. Jow attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his DDS in 2018. After graduating, he completed a 1-year AEGD residency (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) with NYU Langone, before moving home to Northern California. Dr. Jow lives in Concord with his girlfriend and their wonderful cat, Bella. He is an avid car enthusiast and enjoys playing video games.
