Dr. Freitas is thrilled to be practising dentistry in his hometown. He was born and raised in Brentwood, a sixth-generation resident. After graduating from Liberty High School, he completed his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of the Pacific, then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He lives in Brentwood with his wife Shelley, son Jack, and dog Barkley. He enjoys marathons, trail running, bike rides with family, and jogs with his dog. Dr. Freitas works in a state-of-the-art dental office providing quality, conservative, patient-centred care. He is a member of Contra Costa Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry (board member), California Academy of General Dentistry, Delta Study Club, Spear Study Club, and Pierre Fauchard Academy fellow. As a MAGD, he has completed over 1,100 CE hours including 400 hands-on and passed a rigorous exam.
