Dr. John Peters was born and raised in East Lansing, Michigan. He was first introduced to his passion for dentistry by his parents, Michael and Van-Anh, who met as dental students at the Marquette University School of Dentistry. Upon finishing high school, Dr. Peters moved to Milwaukee as a member of the Pre-Dental Scholars Program at Marquette University for his undergraduate studies and dental school, where he graduated with magna cum laude honors in both. He is a fourth generation Marquette dentist. After graduating in 2022, Dr. Peters pursued his post-doctorate education with The Great Lakes Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. As a member of the Waukesha County Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Association and American Dental Association®, Dr. Peters is passionate about organized dentistry and keeping up to date with continuing education courses. He also serves on the executive board for the Milwaukee Odontological Academy study club. His main priority is making sure his patients are educated and comprehensively cared for. In his free time, Dr. Peters enjoys playing basketball and golf and cheering on his favorite teams: Michigan State, Marquette and the Green Bay Packers. He and his wife, Olivia, are members of St. Dominic’s Parish in Brookfield. They are enjoying being new parents and getting more established in the area.
