Dr. Andrew W. Bushey is a Youngstown, OH native and a graduate from Cardinal Mooney High School. He attended the University of Notre Dame where he played baseball and was an Academic All American. He was a two time team captain and lead the team to the College World Series his senior year. Dr. Bushey was selected in the Major League Baseball draft and played 2 years in the Colorado Rockies organization. He went on to pursue his dental degree from the School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University where he graduated at the top of his class. While attending Case Western he acquired a passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed a full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency from Case Medical Center, Metro Health Medical Center and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. During residency he obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. Dr. Bushey’s professional interests include: dental implantology, dentoalveolar surgery, corrective jaw and facial surgery, trauma reconstruction, TMJ medical and surgical treatment and cosmetic surgery. He maintains hospital affiliations with the Mercy Health Center Youngstown and the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing golf, coaching baseball and exercising.
