Dr. Douglas Styka was born in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up on the west side of Youngstown, and graduated from Chaney High School. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Lock Haven University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1993. Upon graduation, Dr. Styka entered a General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center (currently Mercy Health Center), and served as chief resident. He entered private practice in 1995. He joined teaching faculty at St. Elizabeth’s (Mercy) in 2000, and has served as Associate Program Director since 2006. He is a member of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, ODA, ADA, and AGD. He is married to his wife Tracy, and he has two daughters, Jena and Erin. Dr. Styka and his family reside in Canfield.
