Dr. Karam Alrousan attended the Jordan University of Science & Technology and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental science in 1998. She began her professional career as an associate for a senior prosthodontist, practiced family and cosmetic dentistry for six years, and volunteered providing dental care to elderly citizens. She joined the graduate prosthodontic program at the University of Michigan for three years, gaining advanced training in removable and fixed prosthodontics, surgical placement of implants, replacing missing teeth, and cosmetic dentistry. She researches zirconia in crown and bridge restoration, was awarded the non-traditional fellowship by Rackham Graduate School and the CEW award. She works as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan and has a passion for smile makeovers and dental photography. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the American College of Prosthodontists.
