Dr. Travis Hampton attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, where he majored in biology. He was accepted into the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry at the age of 19, making him one of the youngest applicants ever accepted in the program. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1991 with a doctorate degree in dental medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Hampton was selected by his fellow classmates for the Dorothy C. Hearn award, which recognises personal attributes advantageous to dentistry. Dr. Hampton has practised dentistry in his family practice in Covington, Georgia for over 20 years. Dr. Hampton firmly believes in continuing education and is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires over 1,100 hours of continuing education and to pass the rigorous Mastership examination. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
