Dr. Donald Hooie graduated with honours from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis in 1987. After dental school, he completed his general practice residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia, gaining experience in sedation and general anaesthesia. Following six years of active duty, he transitioned to the Naval Reserves as a Lieutenant Commander. He has completed approximately 15,000 hours of continuing education.
