Dr Yen Nguyen-Lenk

Dr. Yen graduated from Tufts Dental School in Boston and has been practicing dentistry for twenty years, refining her skills in dental practices in Boston, San Francisco, San Diego, and the East Bay. She has a gentle and compassionate approach that puts both adults and children at ease. Her combination of artistic skills and dental training gives Dr. Yen the background to do beautiful cosmetic dentistry as well. Dr. Yen's goal is to provide you with a positive dental experience and to create a long-lasting relationship based on trust and the promise that you will receive the best treatment options available. Dr. Yen is a former faculty member at the University of the Pacific Dental School, where she taught Dental Anatomy and Dental Anesthesia. She is trained in comprehensive orthodontics and is a certified Invisalign provider. Her areas of interest are in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Yen performs teeth extractions, bone grafting for implant site development and the surgical placement of implants. She completed her implant prosthetic and surgical training at the Misch International Implant Institute, fulfilling her surgical externship at the California Implant Institute. She is a Fellow at the International Implant Misch Institute, and a Diplomate at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Following three years of attending courses in Seattle, Dr. Yen graduated from the renown Kois Center in Seattle, a leading postdoctoral program and nonprofit research center that trains dentists in restorative and complex mouth rehabilitations. In 2018, upon completion of her examination, she was accepted as a Kois Mentor. Dr. Yen is passionate about learning and continuing education. She attends multiple courses annually to keep abreast of the latest advances in aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry. Dr. Yen Nguyen-Lenk founded Imagine Dental on her philosophy of personalized dental care - taking the time to understand the unique needs of each patient and providing personalized treatment recommendations to guide her patients to optimal dental health.
