Dr. Jean Chang-Lowe was born in Baltimore, Md., and was raised in Davenport, Iowa. She received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell College and attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Ill. After receiving her doctorate of dental surgery in 1994, Dr. Chang-Lowe attended a one-year, hospital-based residency program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the VA Medical Center. She continued at the University of Iowa with a prosthodontics fellowship at the dental school and VA hospital. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Volusia-Flagler Dental Association and the Volusia Dental Academy. Dr. Chang-Lowe routinely exceeds the continuing education requirements mandated by the state of Florida and embraces proven, new technologies that dentistry offers. Dr. Chang-Lowe has been in practice in the Daytona Beach area since 1996. Her husband, whom she met in dental school, was born and raised here and is an orthodontist in Port Orange. They have 22 year old twins, Max and Marley, who are both attending dental school. Max is at NYU and Marley is attending University of Michigan. Outside of work, she enjoys the arts, theater, concerts, reading, traveling, and a good game of billiards.
