Tejal Jamidar was born in Daytona Beach, FL and attended the Spruce Creek High School IB and Finance Programs in Port Orange from 2006-2010. She graduated from Creek as a four-year varsity tennis letterman and was also awarded “Top Science Student” in 2010. She received her B.A. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2014 from Princeton University, where she was Captain of the JV Tennis Team, a member of the Women’s Lightweight Varsity Rowing Team, Intramural Sports Chair at the Terrace F Club, and Treasurer of the Princeton Pre-Dental Association. Dr. Jamidar received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2018 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and completed her general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2019. Dr. Jamidar has also lectured for medical and nursing students since 2023. In her spare time, she enjoys running on the beach, surfing with her brother, spending time with her husband and improving her Spanish. She regularly donates to the Halifax Humane Society (2025 Furball Sponsor) and St. Jude. She also volunteers at the Florida Mission of Mercy.
