Mr Mark Hobbie, D.M.D.

Dr. Mark graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2011, and then graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2015. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and particularly enjoys connecting with patients and having great conversations about their goals for their oral health, as well as learning things about them completely unrelated to dentistry! Dr. Mark loves using his dental operating microscope to perform almost all of his dentistry, which is a technology that less than 1% of general dentists utilize. It allows him see in incredible detail, work with high precision, and operate in a comfortable, healthy working position which will help him to continue doing this job that he loves for decades to come. In his free time, Dr. Mark enjoys playing with his kids, spending quality time with friends and family, walking his dog, playing basketball, playing golf, strength training, riding his road bike (you may see him riding to and from the office during the week), reading science fiction and health and wellness books, and cheering on his favorite sports teams: the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Cubs, the Fighting Illini and the SIUE Cougars! Dr. Mark serves as president of the DeWitt-Piatt Bi-County Board of Health, as a board member at Warner Hospital and Health Service, and is also an active member of the Clinton Rotary Club. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), and the Decatur District Dental Society (DDDS).
