Dr. Finnigan graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990. He practiced in Chelmsford Massachusetts from 1990-1994, where he was an active member of the Mass Dental Society. He also taught in the dental clinics at Tufts Dental school during his four years there. Dr. Finnigan joined DeMartin Dental in 1994 and has practiced and lived in Fairfield for the last 30 years. He and his wife Ellen have raised their now adult children (Mary Rose and Luke) right in the beach area of Fairfield. He always loved coaching and cheering on his children through their many sports activities growing up. Dr. Finnigan has been an active member of the Bridgeport Dental Association, serving on all board positions and President of the BDA for the 2005-2006 year. He was honored as Dentist of the Year in 2019. He has served on the Connecticut State Dental in many capacities over the last 30 years and sat on the Board of Governors for the state of Connecticut from 2016-2020. Dr. Finnigan has been a member of the American Dental Association for all 34 years in practice. He was also voted one of Best Dentists by Connecticut Magazine.
