Dr. Sumona is a cosmetic and general dentist. She grew up in Chattogram, Bangladesh, where she began her dental career and graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery. After moving to the USA, she pursued further education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her time at Tufts, she received the Tufts Merit Scholarship, was named to the Dean’s List, and was honoured with the Predoctoral Student Achievement Award in Endodontics. Following dental school, Dr. Sumona completed a one-year general practice residency at Hartford Hospital, focusing on patients with complex medical conditions, and special needs. Dr. Sumona is dedicated to providing patient-centred care, always prioritising the needs of her patients and striving for excellence in her practice. She aims to provide the highest quality care and treats every patient with the same respect and consideration she would expect for herself. She is fluent in English, Bengali and Hindi. She is committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry. She is certified in Invisalign, placing and restoring implants. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. During her free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking new cuisines, and enjoying quality time with her family.
