Dr Craig Estrada

Dr. Craig Estrada, a native of Norfolk, Virginia, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 1982 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1987 from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. It was at dental school where he met his wife Dr. Charito Mangaya, who was previously a dentist in the Philippines. This dynamic duo opened their own family practice in Chesapeake, VA and served generations of families in the Hampton Roads area for over 30 years. Dr. Estrada has always been a lifelong student, seeking advanced credentials, training, and experience in the fields of aesthetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine with 10+ years of experience treating sleep apnea patients with oral appliances as an alternative to CPAP machines. Since Dr. Estrada and Dr. Mangaya sold their practice in 2021, Dr. Mangaya has been enjoying retirement while Dr. Estrada has continued to practice dentistry. In just a few short months, Dr. Estrada has found a new place to call home at Turner Family Dentistry, and he has fallen in love with life on the Eastern Shore. While on this side of the water, he enjoys trying his hand at crabbing and fishing. On the weekends, he looks forward to spending time with his wife and two kids, attending endless family parties full of Filipino food, fun, and laughter. Dr. Estrada also stays active through teaching Tae Kwon Do, playing racquetball, and exploring the great outdoors by motorcycle or jet ski.
