Dr Daniel B. Kuyk

Dr. Daniel B Kuyk graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2016, earning his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, serving as the Vice President of the UAB Academy of General Dentistry student chapter and was elected to membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. He graduated in 2020 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree shortly after marrying his bride, Cory. Following graduation, Dr. Kuyk completed an AEGD program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) in Abingdon, Virginia with a focus on implant dentistry and advanced prosthodontics. Dr. Kuyk and Dr. Scheiderich met during Dr. Kuyk’s residency and soon discovered they had very similar educational journeys and treatment philosophies. To keep pace with Fletcher’s growing population Dr. Kuyk joined Fletcher Great Smiles in July of 2021. Dr. Kuyk is a member of the American Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He enjoys fishing, hiking, running, and cycling in his spare time.
