Dr. Julian received his Doctor of Dental Science degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School in 1978 after doing his undergraduate work at the University of Kansas. A native Kansan, Jon had a dental practice in McPherson, KS until 2011 and then made a big life change by moving to South Carolina with his wife, Karen, to open The Dental Retreat at Mountain Park. Jon’s passion for providing excellent dentistry and for forming trusted relationships with his patients motivate him to make The Dental Retreat one of the best dental providers in the South. Dr. Julian maintains an active membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation. Past memberships include the Academy of Laser Dentistry and International College of Oral Implantologists. He lectures extensively on dental implants, CBCT technology and on the use of lasers in dentistry.
