Dr. Kenneth L. Merritt was born in Nashville, Tenn. He has spent most of his life in Hendersonville, N.C., and he graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville with a BS. degree in Chemistry in 1981. He attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1986 and began a solo private practice the same year. His practice revolves around a conservative philosophy and includes all phases of restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthetics and implant restorations. Dr. Merritt is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the North Carolina Dental Society. He is married to Theresa, and they have four children. His hobbies include spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.
