Dr Laura A. Suzuki

Aloha, and welcome to our dental practice! I’m Dr. Laura A. Suzuki, the dentist and owner of our office here in the Kuakini Medical Plaza in Nu'uanu. I’ve been practicing for over 35 years, and it’s been a true privilege to help patients improve their oral health, comfort, and confidence. My interest in healthcare started early as my father was an internist, and his dedication to his patients really inspired me. I’ve always loved science, but I also enjoy being creative and working with my hands, so dentistry felt like the perfect fit. I knew as early as high school at Roosevelt that I wanted to become a dentist. I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and went on to complete my dental degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to care for so many wonderful patients and work alongside an amazing team, some of whom have been with me for three decades! Outside the office, I love to travel, try new foods, and spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy reading, staying active, and relaxing at home with my cats.
