Dr. Batten’s passion for dentistry was sparked during his early college years volunteering with Missions of Mercy dental practices in rural North Carolina communities. He continues to volunteer with Missions of Mercy, NC Baptist Men’s Dental Bus, and international missions. Interests include fly-fishing, hiking/camping, hunting, playing golf, time with family and friends, and travelling with his wife Ashley.
