Dr. Lee Edwards was born and raised in Haines, Alaska, a small town near Juneau. After graduation from high school, she attended Western Washington University, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in cell-molecular biology. Her undergraduate research in the field of biochemistry has been published in a scientific journal. After completing her undergraduate education at WWU, Dr. Edwards was offered admission to the University of Washington School of Dentistry. There, she earned membership to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which is granted to students graduating in the top 5% of their dental school class. After her graduation from dental school in 2011, Dr. Edwards moved to Olympia and started working as a dentist in multiple local dental offices. In 2012, Dr. Edwards purchased a small practice in Olympia, and has owned and operated her business since then. In her spare time, Dr. Edwards enjoys spending her time with her husband and children, travelling, and enjoying the great outdoors that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
