I feel very lucky to live and work in the Yelm community! Since returning to Washington in 2010, I have been practicing general dentistry at Yelm Dental. I had the privilege of working alongside my childhood dentist, Marlin Kay, until he retired in 2013. I grew up in Lacey, graduated from Timberline High School in 1998, then spent twelve years furthering my education and starting a family. I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Brigham Young University in 2004, and a doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2008. I spent two years in Detroit, Michigan where I received additional training in oral and maxillofacial surgery which included IV Sedation, the removal of impacted wisdom teeth and dental implant surgery. My wife Stephanie is a native of Federal Way, Washington. She and I were married in 2002 and have moved our family from Utah to Pennsylvania to Michigan and then finally back to Western Washington, where we plan to stay. We are the proud parents of four boys and a girl. When we are not driving around to our kids activities, we love road trips and exploring the outdoors especially here in the great Pacific Northwest!
