Interested in the clinical aspects of dentistry, he remains an avid learner, pursuing continuing education every chance he gets. It wasn’t until he took a class on medicine in high school that he discovered a genuine interest in the field. After hearing dentists talk about their profession and day-to-day work, he decided it would be the right career. He completed a two-year church mission to Norway before attending Brigham Young University, graduating cum laude in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in botany and pre-dental studies. In 2000, he earned his dental degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. After moving to Utah, he started practicing and gained valuable experience. In 2001, he returned to purchase the dental office of Dr. Philip B. Cramer in Lacey, which is now Peterson & Cammack Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Peterson with his wife, Cathy, and their four children: Drake, Natalie, Jill, and Melissa. He also enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, playing guitar and singing, and he’s involved with his church. Member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association.
