Dr Jovannelly Zaragoza

Dr. Jovannelly Zaragoza has lived in Laredo since she was a teenager. She attended and graduated from United South High School. Dr. Zaragoza attended Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas. She graduated at the top of her class with a bachelor’s degree in both mathematics and biology. After graduation, Dr. Zaragoza attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School at San Antonio. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery, she returned to Laredo where she knew health professionals were in demand. Dr. Zaragoza worked with Gateway Community Health Center in Laredo where her dental expertise was shared with everyone in the Dental Department. She worked there for two years before branching out into private practice. Jovannelly Zaragoza, DDS, became associated with Rolando A. Guerra, Jr., DDS, at Gentle Family Dentistry of Laredo. Dr. Zaragoza loves traveling and visiting Las Vegas. Since 2007, Dr. Zaragoza has enjoyed surgical dentistry tremendously and one of is the dental implant surgeons for the office. In addition, Dr. Zaragoza has quickly become extremely proficient in surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth extractions, biopsies, bone augmentation procedures, treating ailing implants, and apicoectomies. In general, she also provides careful, comfortable, and gentle dentistry to medically compromised patients. Her other dental strong points are cosmetic dentistry which include: porcelain veneers, tooth colored fillings, porcelain crowns, and bridges. In addition, Dr. Zaragoza is certified in mini implants and implant retained complete dentures, and implant retained removable partial Dentures. She is also authorized by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to utilize Nitrous Oxide and to administer oral sedation to her pediatric and adult patients when necessary. Credentials: American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Laredo District Dental Society. Working towards Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
